[UPDATE - CRUISE IS ON SUN AUG 20 BC RAIN] 2017 Muskoka Cruise
#81
We had a great time! Thanks to all who organized the event. It was good to meet lots of new people and put faces to names (or screen names) as well.
Here are a few pics... if they work. Credit to my wife for the pictures

Thanks everyone for coming out - Andre and I were really happy with the numbers this year. Couldn't have asked for better weather, but I wouldn't have complained if it were a bit cooler. Glad that everyone kept it safe even though some of those roads were pretty gravel-y.
Anyway, wasn't the u-turn back onto the bumpy road great? sorry for the one wrong turn, but it was tricky keeping track of Google maps while trying to keep a healthy pace! Does anybody have video - I totally forgot to turn on my GoPro - doh!
As usual, any feedback is welcome for ideas for next year. Personally, I quite liked the 3 pit stops and I thought the food at Sawdust City was solid. It was also nice not to have a 15-20 minute stretch of gravel roads like last year, but it's always a bit of a gamble in Muskoka.
Stay tuned for news on the next Niagara cruise this year.

First clip I've uploaded. Watch it in YouTube in 4K otherwise I don't think the 360 will work. It's pretty neat on your phone too. Your view changes as you move your phone around. Sorry about the quality. I've got to find a better place to mount the camera so the sun isn't so bad.

That 360* view looks really nice Norm, how did you get the map on display?
Thanks for sharing the pics, any more pics from members?
I would try to make it out to the next meet, keep us posted CO's and good job on planning the cruise, promoted.

I need to find a better place to mount it though. The glare from the sun is bad and the light differences really kill the picture quality. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd suction cup it to the roof.
