Back on topic, but only this once.....how does one measure offset? My answer is totally intuitive, but it makes sense yes?
1)Take half of the rim width (call it W)
2)place your rim on the ground (on a towel preferably), front facing down
3)place a 2x4 on top of it (or something of similar straightness and stiffness *no comments*)
4)take a measuring tape and measure from the inside of the wheel hub to the edge of the 2x4 (call it X)
5)Now subtract X-W which = offset right?
For example, just say your wheel is 200mm wide. So 1/2 is 100 (W)
You measure your inside hub to the wood and its 150mm (X)
so 150-100=50
So therefore your offset would be +50mm correct?
Now back on topic
