I suspect if the dealer were involved in the import they would honor the warranty, obviously Nimesh will know for sure because he has asked all these question already.

Nice job buddy, you get to keep your color and not paint the hardtop.

my first hurdle was to confirm with RIV and CCRA that the vehicle was "admissible"

but, i've just put in a call to honda canada......

Just like I thought.. but think about it this way, if you can save $5K Canadian on the purchase, how many trips to Buffalo would that be? What kind of a deal do you think you can get on this car in the states and what would that work out in Cnd funds? Want to get two in the spring?

Yes, but look at the head aches we have trying to get warranty work done locally. I would not want to deal with having to go to the US for this.

To date it has been trouble free, but the early ones had to deal with TSBs and they proved to be a bit of a pain for some. I know the '04s do not have to deal with the same tsbs but who know what will come up with time. For me, it would just not be worth the headache (and Berlina is available in Canada ....)
