Hello Everyone,

I'm excited to announce a 7th Annual Wine Tour event.

Date: Sunday, September 28
Rain Date: Oct 4th or 5th

The dates might change, I was reluctant to put this up since the Wine Festival ends on the 28th, so we might have some issues with wineries being packed and unable to handle our group.

This event will start around 11am in Grimsby, Ontario. Ending off with Dinner around 6pm.

I will post more about the Route, Start Location and Restaurant in the next few days.

In the meantime, please create a list so that I can gauge the # of people attending.

Include the dates that work for you OR won't work.


Format:

Name, Guest (Yes/No), Dinner (Yes/No), Dates available

Take the previous list in the above post and add to it please.

I hope to make this the largest turn out thus far. I believe we've had a 24 car turnout one miserable year

Note: This event will be limited to S2000 only for NOW. BUT if you wish to come, please make it known and if this doesn't get out of hand, I will try to accommodate.

There MIGHT be a fee. When I call the wineries, I give them a ultimatum. Either we get in for free or we don't come. Last year I was surprise by how many wineries decided to turn down my offer. I don't get it, because we usually leave with several cases of wine for Thanksgiving, but I guess they don't want our money and would rather try to nickel and dime us for tastings.

This might change, but it should be pretty close on what to expect.

I might add Joseph Winery to this list as I really enjoyed thier wines but this is already a 3.5 hour drive, not including stop times. I might remove Ridge Point if we get a Kacaba wine tour as that it usually 1-1.5 hours.

I estimate 30-40 mins per location x 4
Tim Hortons rest and coffee = 30 min

Total trip = 6.5 Hours

Leaving at 11:45-12 from Grimsby
Arrive at Boston Pizza for Dinner at 6:30pm

I'd love to make this one, if I can get my instrument cluster back into the car by then. I don't want to put my name on the list until I confirm that my car will be up and running. I have driven without an instrument cluster quite a bit but I'd prefer to have it on the highway so I know how fast or slow I'm going, lol.

Did you get the piece from Qube? Should be pretty straight forward, and if you haven't gotten it yet, just slip it back in to place, leave the two trim plugs and the AC Audio controls unplugged, makes things nice and easy to pull out again
