coilovers - obviously.
and adjust it to lowest setting, and cry over every sewer, bump or hole you drive over in the gta. |
now is it really worth it??
|
way too low for my liking, i cringe every time i go over a speed bump at my stock height. i dont know what id do if it was this low.
|
there are some speedbumps in my area that i cant go over without scraping at stock ride height... and im still slamming my shit this summer ahahah... i know every which way to go inorder to avoid speed bumps... and if you have to go over one, just take it slow and angle it properly... its your car, who cares about the people behind you who have to wait that extra 2 seconds.
|
First take your chin spoiler off and break it over your knee and reinstall, might as well do it now since it won't take more then 24 hours for it to happen on the road.
Second, get a dry slump oil system since one raise manhole might smash your oil pan. So many things can happen at that height, it's not worth it to look slammed. |

im pretty sure i dont have any privacy protection on that but let me know if i do.... that was my old car, drove it at that ride height for 2 years through the summer and never had any problems... the front lip was a little less then 8 cm off the ground. The stock height on the S is a little over 10 cm. You should be good for a 1 or 2 inch drop max for daily driving i think... and thats only if your careful when you drive. |
Every time you adjust the ride height you need to get an alignment. Not to mention you camber and caster will be out to lunch. Makes for a crappy riding car but if you wanna mess it up... By all means.... It's your car.
|
You may have seen this car before, he was on HKS hyper's
And yes you will have to raise the car, adjust and lower it back down. HKS hyper max http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3598/...ea967dc0_b.jpg Those are 18's too. I bet you could F*** your s*** up real nice with some 17's on there |
As risky as that may be, i still think it looks sick :D

^^^^^ can you update your winter build pleasee
|
You'll need a full thread body coilover
You might need to cut the fender well plastic Roll the fenders Relocate the rear bumper tabs suitable offset and tire size Max camber All depends on the rims you use.. |
I haven't met or seen another S2000 lower than mine in the GTA, and coming from myself, I don't think you can daily drive any lower than my current height. However, i do daily drive mine, everyday.. rain or shine and even snow sometimes, and I can tell you that it is a pain. In the end of the day it is your car, and it's up to you to deal with it, and see for yourself if it's worth it. All the people here can say this, say that.. but their opinion should matter. Many people say my car is too low, and it ruins the S2000, but I still hit the track (raised though), and I still drive through winter (barely ever), and I still love my car.
