I'm sure the car was towed away. If your alarm system didn't have a tilt sensor installed it wouldn't go off. All you need is one sketchy tow truck driver...

Another one?! It's like it's open hunting season...

Sorry to hear that man...even if it was the shop, it's going to be an uphill battle to prove it, but it might be a good starting point.

Also, as myflys2k suggested, any tow truck and 5 minutes will do. Most ppl wouldn't even give a second glance at a tow truck...

No way, sorry to hear man.. They must be working together. When you gave the police report, did you mention another s2k being stolen(mine)?

If there are witnesses they might find it more strange that a tow truck is taking your car away, they would likely at least ask what is wrong. And don't tow trucks have those reverse beepers and stuff, i would expect some additional noise from them. It sounds like people just thought it was you driving away with it and thought nothing of it, but the alarm not going off at all is still strange.

If you want to make it tougher for a tow truck thief, you guys should start parking in reverse, or block your car with other cars if possible.

You mean Split Fire Auto on Rutherford, Brampton?? If so I drove there after I heard my car was stolen because my friend actually tipped me to drive by there and walk around the lot because they were known to chop cars before but I never saw my car.

That would be quite the coincidence.

Wow this is unbelievable. Any chance any of your neighbors have an outdoor camera?

Great idea, definitely ask you neighbours if they have home cameras or dash cams.
