Any insurance company that charges short-term/weekend?

I'm currently with co-operators group insurance (under HB group insurance)
I live in Markham and my rates are as follows:

2010 BMW 328i xdrive - $1300/year <--- wife's dd
2007 Honda Civic si coupe - $1700/year <--- my dd
2006 Honda S2000 - $1600/year (Goes down to $100/year during winter seasons when I put the car for comprehensive)

I barely drive the S2000, and probably take her out no more than 30 days per year
The insurance company doesn't allow switching insurance on/off whenever I feel like it, and they have a rule that once the car goes comprehensive, you're unable to switch back to full coverage within 45 days.

Since I have 3 vehicles, I'm still entitled for multi-vehicle discount if I switch the S2000 over to some other insurance company
I'm looking for an insurance company that is willing to insure my S2000 for spring/summer/fall weekends only (so maybe 50 days worth of insurance)
Anyone know of any insurance companies that do something like this?

I'm also open to any recommendation/strategies to lower the cost

The price usually is dictated by the info you give them, the mileage you put per year and how often and when you drive it. I just switched insurance companies and I'm 24 and I pay $1500 for the entire year with 2 million liability, 1000 deductible and full coverage

Which insurance are you with? Maybe I should try asking for a quote
I asked this question before, and they said the calculations are put under different brackets
Something like 0-5000, 5000-10000, 10000-20000.. along the lines
So even though I tell them I put around 2000km per year, it makes no difference to the premium as opposed to telling them I put around 200km per year

^They told me that too. I'm with TD and initially stated I do 5,000kms a year. Turns out I actually do less and they said it doesn't matter.

You guys should all move to Sarnia.
I pay $54/month when my CR is on the road and $6/month for comprehensive while in storage.
I'm with TD Meloche Monnex.

Man your guys rates are so cheap! And one of you isn't even 25 yet!

I think a lot of it has to do with the area you live in.

As for OP, if your trying to get a company that will let you put it off and on, my experience is its more the agent you deal with. My agent lets me do it whenever I want (although I try not to hassle him), but if I talk to some random person at the company they will say they don't do that.

I have even had company's in the past "place a note" on the account if I know I will only have the car out for a day or two, and they dont bother to change my rate. The note is there in case something happens, then they can say I had full coverage on.
