Default Any tips on buying some land in THE GREAT WHITE NORTH???

I will be up next week searching for some retirement property on PEI. (Canada's secret paradise). Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any tips for a non-Canadian citizen.

BTW, I was born in Toronto and naturalized a US citizen at the tender age of 6 months

Wish me luck

PEI is beautiful. I would imagine prices are low but definitely try to get a piece of property on the coast if you can. PEI has many inlets that are protected from the ocean.

Nova Scotia now has limits as to the amount of ocean frontage that can be owned by non-residents. Not sure if PEI does also.

Good luck!

That is where the Anne of Green Gables stories were written and take place. Lucy M. Montgomery is the author I believe. The land has the brightest green grass, reddest soil, and friendliest people on earth, I do believe!

It is breathtaking to behold ............but, shsssssssssssss, I want to keep it a secret!

PEI is a beautiful place. My grandma still lives there. Her house is about half a mile from the shore.

You're gonna love it there!
