Default Anyone using RHD Japan for parts?

Hey guys,

Is anyone here in the GTA using www.rhdjapan.com for parts? Are you happy with how quickly orders ship? Have you had any issues etc?

I'm always looking or different suppliers but most reviews are by people in the states.

Thanks!

Chris

Bought compliance bushings, service was quick to respond when I changed my order, best price I found too. That was 2017.

Half my car is from there. Use them almost exclusively for JDM parts unless I can find them in stock in NA, which is almost never. I recommend them for anything that can fit in a box up to the size of wheels because shipping can be expensive for really large items. But I bought my TE37's from them so even wheels I found cheaper with shipping than locally.

Yup! Best unkept secret! Less markup than buying JDM parts in the US. Even with shipping from Japan parts are STILL cheaper.

Planning on buying the Defi ADVANCE ZD Sport Package for about $550 and was wondering if anyone had to pay duties/taxes etc once the parts get here?

Yes you are responsible for duties and taxes. I buy from the all the time. Pro tip, pick EMS which will arrive through Canada post. Brokerage fees are more reasonable through CP.

Thank you! And I will definitely go EMS and hope to not get dinged too much. Any idea what I might be looking at for duties/taxes? I bought a Hans devise from the UK for about $350 and didn’t get hit with anything. Maybe I just got lucky? BTW - I live in California

Oh not sure about America...this is a Canadian forum. But America charges a lot less tax/duties than here in Canada. So I’d say fire away.
