AP1 Wheels Stolen
 

I had someone break into my storage unit and the thieves took everything of value including my AP1 rims. It is not that the wheels had any real value however its more the feeling of violation and inconvenience.

It is virtually impossible to track down a set of mass produced rims but I thought it was worth a try to ask the community to keep an eye open for any sale posts with AP1 rims and 205 Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires on the fronts, and 215 Dunlop Wintersport M3s on the rears. Its kind of a unique match and I would easily be able to identify them if I saw them based on the normal wear and tear and a few specific clear coat touch ups. Mainly posting this out of frustration...I HATE thieves!!!

That really sucks. Being winter tires and rims they will likely go up for sale asap, keep an eye out on kijiji , and some of the import forums.

likely some PORCH DICK. I feel your frustration. maybe try and post in the kijiji want ads that you're looking specifically for some AP1 winter rims and tires.

Let me know if you need a cheap set of ap1 in the meantime.

Look at it this way, better ap1 then any other rim with $$ value.

Hopefully they have some sort of security camera.

Sorry to hear that man. I might be picking up a set of bigger wheels next weekend. Im currently on a set of good condition AP1 rims with Goodyear tires that I wouldn't mind handing off to you. My only condition is that you come over and help me change over to the new wheels.

Doubt it those guys, they buy, sell, and part out s2000s

I don't think thefts are idiotic enough to sell the wheels+tires combo together
They will dismount the tires and sell the wheels & tires seperately

I need a good set without road rash or flaking clear coat..... and cheap. :tipwink:

Sucks man. Will keep an eye out, but thieves like these probably aren't known for their sophistication. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to flip it quickly with as little work as possible.
