AP2 wheels for everyone.

Not all used tires are shit, I just bought a set of Ap2v3 rims with 9/10ths tread on factory Bridgestones. Some used tires are shit, some aren't , you pay more money for good tires and almost nothing for crap tires. The tires on my ap2v2's are mint, so it wasn't too hard to sell them for decent money.
Good condition used parts sell for decent money, crappy used parts sell for very little, that's how the market system works. Lots of people looking for good quality parts on these forums. If you have nice low mile parts sell them for top dollar.
If those are re-furbished oem Honda rims, they'd be alright, but if they are knock-off Chinese rims I think they are over-priced. I'm a bit skeptical by they way they are being listed as Honda S2000 "compatible" rims and all of the fine print and disclaimers in that add. Why wouldn't they just list them as Honda S2000 rims and do away with all of the fine print and disclaimers.
Don't get me started on the new economy and everyone wanting to buy cheap stuff, it's the reason so many people are working at shit minimum wage jobs these days. We've moved to a dollar store economy. I don't worry about the money I spend, if I like something I buy it and I don't mind paying more money for quality stuff. Everyone lives their life differently. Seems that I'm not the only one like that, as we have lots of guys paying top dollar for JDM stuff on this site.

i'm not talking about the quality of the tire, i'm talking price.
comparing whatever you paid/msrp, tires do not retain their value.

that's why i gave up trying to selling nice tires.
i had a set of wheels with starspec's...no one wanted to pay for them even though they were basically brand new..ended up just buying some cheapo used tires to slap them on...next thing you know boom their gone.

Its not always easy to sell the combo, the buyer has to like both the wheels and tires. But if the tires are in good shape, its a massive savings not having to shell out $1000 on top of a rim purchase.
