Default battery

This is going to be my 3rd time charging the battery.
I charged the battery to full. And I start the car up for 5-10 mins every 2 days and roll it in and out of the garage.

What's up?

Pull the battery out and just leave the car for the rest of the winter, charge it every weekend. Spring stick it back in and Bob's your uncle...

Any other options other then removing battery? Sometimes I need to drive the car around to make room, and to roll out the tires.

Get a trickle charger from Crappy Tire and leave it on the car...

A trickle charger will work but why not spend a little more money and get a "smart" charger like the "Battery Tender"? These will top up your battery and keep it there and not overcharge.
By starting the car every couple of days for 5-10 minutes, you are taking more charge out of the battery from cranking it than you are putting back in by running it for those minutes.

I am using a 20 year old motormaster trickler that my uncle gave me. It works, but it takes a long time to charge. I guess I should buy a $100 trickler. Any special recommandations?

Comets, I have a 10A charger if you need to give the battery a quick charge.

Xviper, where can I get one of these smart chargers? I figure it would be perfect to leave on the battery while it sits in the basement.
