Default Boost Leak

Hey guys, I went down to see Jeff Evans last week. I swapped my pulley from a 4" to a 3.6" and got a tune. It seems I must have a boost leak. I am not getting the numbers SOS shows on its pulley chart. A +/- 10% variance is considered normal. I am suppose to get 13 psi with the 3.6" pulley. Jeff could only get a shade over 10 psi. My prior logs for the 4.0" pulley only showed about 8 psi and it was suppose to be 10 psi. Consequently my results were only 370 whp and 240 torque. I should be able to break 400 whp with this pulley and my Novi 1200.

I am not technical in any way. Is anyone one here able and willing to help me do a boost leak test and figure out where 3 psi is going? Or know a shop who is good at this?

Thanks!

Go through all the couplings and make sure their tight. Id imagine Jeff and his crew checked that. I bet it's going by your egr / secondary air control valve. Shoot me a pm. We could figure it out.

It's the SOS racing heat exchanger. I'm not very technical, but I don't think that it is the same thing as a FMIC.

My uneducated guess is a problem with the diverter valve but I have no idea how to test it. In my research it seems the Bosch diverter valve is pretty solid on this kit. Not so much on turbo applications though, e.g. Audi.

It is different from a front mounted intercooler.
