Price on these Type R are really coming down. Saw a few dealers offering a few with under 5000km for just $36,000. That seems like a bargain.

They should depreciate in value to some degree. Everyone knows these cars will be driven hard so if someone wants to sell a used one they are going to have to take a loss up to 25 percent depreciation in the first year much like any other car. You can still find new ones on the dealer lots so used ones have to be priced in that range IMO, a good deal for someone. Plus Honda dealers screw you on trade in value regardless of the vehicle, but when they sell you a new car they all brag about high resale value of their cars.. I got a better trade in value for my Civic at Subaru compared to what my local Honda dealer was willing to pay for it, that was an eye opener.
If they are selling a used ctr for 36k, some poor schmuck likely had to give it back to them for $31k and the dealer is putting it back up for sale for a 5k profit while the original owner lost 10-12k. |

Welcome to the Club man, we could hangout in our CTRs |
I drive by a black and white one on a daily basis and they look like suv size to me. That picture demonstrates it clearly |
