Is it possible that you've just subconsciously adapted and changed shifting technique? CDV won't come into play if you shift really slow. The only way for the CDV to kick in is to release the clutch QUICK.

Anyone who has been in my car will wonder where my cdv went but i can happily say i still have it. My thoughts are just shift differently, it saves your diff.
I'm with Mikey... Shift differently. I've seen this boy shift, and he is lightning quick, even when he had the OEM 22 lb flywheel.
I have been playing around with my shifting from slow to fast, and im slower now... but even going slower i dont have the cdv kicking in like everyone complains about. I prefer to have my cdv i know it saves my diff, it will stop the wheel hop and so on.

I think it is something to do with me letting the clutch out fast from the point of engagement, not sure . I HAVE however noticed the cdv will always kick in if i slow down my left foot near the the top side of the clutch action. This is an always happening occurance.
