Your probably getting confused with the AP1 rims, they are 1" apart in width (6.5 - 7.5)

To be honest I never really looked at them as an option for my car so never paid attention to the specs.

You have all given me great points to think about. I just love the look and prestige of the CR but like some have said, is it worth the extra money? I can build a base model that will handle, outperform and look nearly as good(my opinion) for much less. I was hoping for it to be a long term investment that I can drive the odd weekend, one that I would not have to pay income tax on if I sold it. I have actually found one within 50kms of my house with less just over 40k miles for about $27K USD, after the exchange it would be about $35K ish CDN before tax and duty and such. That being said, my wife doesn't like the color.

Thanks for your comments, the thinking will continue....

CR is just a show car. Drive it the way it was meant to be driven, and it will lose its value. Gain a lot of fun, but it's an expensive fun car.

I had one but decided I could get the same thrill with a AP1 with CR suspension. Less money tied up. Not afraid to drive it, or put on miles or have some knob key it etc etc. Plus I have a soft top again. There was a point that you could buy a 08 & 09 CR for less money than a 08 & 09 base model.
That has changed now and the CR is commanding more money.

Looking forward to depreciating my car at Grand Bend Raceway in 2016. I don't like coffee.

Most of us drive our cars more than you will, as long as you keep it shinny side up you should be fine
With dragon trips and all the sunny days we had this year i would have put 15,000kms on the car (if it was all on the same s2000)
