I put 4000 KM in a month and a half (just got it) and was so pissed off at myself for using it as a daily during that time.

Couldn't imagine driving a CR..
Would probably never leave my neighborhood!
I got mine because I'm an enthusiast and I want to enjoy the car. It was made to be driven, and driven hard! Babying it is one thing, but nothing wrong with driving it as you please! Not saying you do this, but I never understood why some people buy a driver's car to not drive it, instead to treat it like an investment that will lose value for the next person. Plus, it's a Honda, just drive it! It's for you, not the next person.

As long as you are maintaining the car while you drive it, there is nothing wrong with putting on the miles. In fact you could be doing the car more good instead of people who let a car sit in storage for years. If you don't use parts on a car they will sieze and deteriorate, as well as lots of the fluids in the car that need replacement over time regardless of use.

CRs are Priceless when you are having Fun Tracking at Grand Bend Raceway. Makes you forget about worrying about resale values. The CR will be worth whatever some one will pay for it if or when I decide to sell it. I bought the cars to enjoy on the Track.

Not even a clean carproof one would sell for that price
I disagree ^

LOL, I see you requested the Carproof too! I was too curious not to.

That $1800 was most likely the bumper cover with paint and a tail light and possibly a trunk lid, matching VIN's went out the window when they painted it just to make it a little less valuable. A damn shame.

If the kilometres were lower maybe.

Every car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it though.

An $1,800 insurance claim is nothing, most likely cosmetic damage.
