OEM is your best bet. I bought a replica before I bought my OEM. It fit like hell, I also tried several other oem replica lips the shop had in stock and all of them fit like crap so I said screw it. By the time you factor in paint and the nonsense you arent far off getting oem...

Hi guys,
Do any of you recommend a descent E-Bay store that sell good quality front lips (AP1) and the rear spoiler? Searched for user "braysonr" but couldn't find. Anyway looking for reputable on-line replica stores.
Thanks in advance,

OEM is your best bet, after smashing a bunch of replica's and getting them repainted, refitted your spending more than OEM quality.
The only time i'd go after market is when your buying non oem parts like mugen etc. then i guess you can venture out if you don't want to pay for authentic parts...

Sounds like good advice. Although, for the rear spoiler, I was able to find a pretty good fibreglass replica painted and shipped for less than 1/2 of the cheapest OEM product I could find. Obviously with it just being a rear spoiler, there's much less in the wear/tear dept.

Alot of people say modding cars is a loose situation in the end you end up never getting what you paid for...
When you buy OEM expect the price of the pieces only to stay if not go up in price.
This is what i've learned over and over again.

Just bought an OEM lip brand new from a retailer in the states for $350 plus some $60 shipping to CBIUSA (www.cbiusa.com) which I will then pick up in the spring once the S is on the road.
Way I see the math: $150 roughly for replica, then another $150-200 for paint. That's pretty darn close to the price of OEM.
