Exhaust System
HOPEFULLY my lights will arrive next week (right Tim???) and I'll get my car back...man, do I ever miss my ride.
I MISS HER A LOT...
But life goes on...weather is still in the driveable range in Toronto at least.
In any case, is anyone interested in this exhaust system?
Stainless steel
Single cannister
Twin pipe (polished rear section)
~ 50% lighter than stock
Sound:
low rpm - quiet, pretty much the same as stock
mid rpm - higher pitched than stock
high rpm - can you say INDY CAR? High pitched - like a bike, but not tinny like a GINOCIVIC.
It is CAT-BACK, and should be legal for the street. The only downside that we noticed is that when you POWER SHIFT, you do get some flame out the pipes. I don't know what the authorities will have to say about that.
Once I get my ride back I will do a few dyno runs with the factory exhaust and a few with the new exhaust.
If anyone is interested, the shop doing the exhaust wants an idea to see if he should get flanges made to mate up to the factory flange on the CAT, or if he should just cut and weld.
Peace...
