If people looking to buy an S2000 are worried about a harsh ride, gloveboxes, cupholders, trunk space, etc.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!
THIS CAR IS NOT FOR YOU.
IT NEVER WILL BE - PLEASE MOVE ALONG TO THE MINIVANS - THANK YOU
As an S2000 owner, I bought this car because it is not any of the above and is all of what I want in this type of a car.

The new Pontiac, Toyota, Chrysler is a great driver's car. With the shifters on the steering wheel they use the same technology as a Ferrari. At 140km/h over undulations on the pavement you don't even notice them....I can handle the car with one finger on the steering wheel freeing up my other hand for cell phone, coffee, eating.... Now that's handling! I'm surprised it doesn't drive itself.
The all season tires offer so much grip that I could take the on ramp to the 401 at speeds that would get me a ticket for 20 km/h over. Merging with traffic I just punch the downshift button with the same hand my coffee is in (make sure the coffee isn't full or the 290 hp chirping through the front wheels will more than likely cause a spill). Pretty soon I'm doing ludicrous speeds as the V6 thunders to the redline. This must be what it feels like to be an F1 driver!!! With all the driver aids you just point her and she'll go....let the electronics figure out the rest.
With this car it is hard not to get speeding tickets. Taking the kids to karate is never going to be the same.

Is Vince there with you at your house for a play date?

I read the new review, and I have to say I like it better. It makes note of the points that typical luxury drivers might hate, but enthusiasts will love. It doesn't necessarily make the judgment for you about the car, just gives enough information to decide whether or not to go try one out.
