i'm semi-interested depending on how much shorter the knob makes the throw. don't you guys find it annoying when it's too hot to touch on sunny days or vice versa with the cold? i bought a 'ghetto' momo leather/aluminum knob that looks really good and shortens throw by a little more than an inch (?), but it doesn't do well cuz it's not threaded for the ideal fit.
