+ 1 for that. I believe Wes_R is his username here.

One of the cars he's worked on

Would also add that he was totally transparent and honest about it. Rather than gouging me for money twice told me to fix any dents, scratches that are past the clear coat etc before coming to him.

Go spend $300 on orbital sander and cut/polish/pad and learn yourself

You can't screw it up and won't do a good job like these guys BUT it's nice to do it yourself and learn. Plus you'll have it forever.

What I did:

Went with Optimal products. Free shipping, and will probably be around 300 after taxes

If anyone wants to tips or instructions, i'll post it up and PM me.

Dude thats what it is. If you have swirl scratches and hazy, faded paint you'd be surprised what clay barring, cutting compound and a polish can do! I doubt your car will require wet sanded and multiple stages of cutting and polishing. I can vouch for his honesty and because you probably just spoke to him over the phone he just gave you the prices but when he sees the car he will know how much is needed to bring it back to life, a simple stage may be all that's needed, the two stage package is what's gonna cost 4-500, his one stage package I believe it only 250. If you do theough him I'd also recommend opticoat, wax ain't got shit on that stuff.

Detailing is hard work. You'll know once you really getting into it. With a reputable detailer in the GTA, you really get what you paid for.

Couple people I follow on Inst are:

Orien Detailing
J-Tough
Whatsnextautospa
