The effectiveness of these I think depends on how many users are in the area you are trying to track your car in. If you're in a big city it might work pretty well. If you're rural it's probably not going to be very effective. But as cheap insurance that may or may not work, it's interesting. I'd buy a bunch and attach them to various high theft parts of you could hide them.
