id be surprised if we drove 30 seconds in the wrong direction, but yes, it was recalculating while we drove by the suggested turn off...
The brown guy should have looked at some tree bark or something to get us to the 400 if he thinks hes so cool. Better yet, he should have shown up in his boat wearing loafers and plaid for the sally.

don't be an idiot.....
BUT - If you really believe that that was 30 minutes, Id hate to think about how long some other things in your life last.

Doug said he could easily become addicted and drive into a tree. Its just that good heh.
I'm old school not because I don't like new toys or can't figure them out, I'm old school because I'm a poor bastard...
The Vince unit was darn fast. Vince knew where he wanted to go, the unit had another route already picked and as soon as he was off route it told him so and recalculated almost immediately.
The amount of detail in the maps was also extraordinary. As we were driving along a straight flat section of road I had no idea there were a bunch of little ponds next to us until I saw the blue areas come into the display screen. Had the GPS not been on I would never have noticed them. See what I mean, I would have driven off the road by now watching the screen.
I also have to say, when it came down to locating one of the places we were going to eat, it too did this quickly and in a variety of ways, remote or touch screen. And then every time the significant other changed her mind we got to look up another option. And I have to tell ya, I really enjoyed Scully's Crab Shack!
I must however point out one thing, Vince got his ass in a boatload of trouble because his unit recorded a max speed of 190 kph, a certain someone was not impressed. I still suspect the unit got confused when we went from kilometers to miles back to kilometers, but who knows, maybe that 4Runner really does 190...
However, this is the way my mind works
$1,000 = GPS or $1,000 = Supersprint exhaust.
Aaaahhhhhhh
Supersprint wins hand down.

Oh geezus I forgot about the 190...
And for the life of me I can't think of any place I'd opened it up to 190..and not in the 4runner....for certain!
Hilarious, I did a firmware upgrade and my offence is now gone heh
