Happy Birthday to me

To celebrate my birthday and in light of the fact that I got sweet fvck all for a birthday gift I decided to give myself one:

http://www.hermanmiller.com/hm/conte...P_AER_L120.jpg

Comfortably yours... :D

DoGMaN 10-02-2006 11:54 AM

First off, Happy Birthday

Secondly, I've had a Herman Miller for years and there is no finer thing that can be done to your ass legally on this planet. It has survived many many days worth of ass torture from myself...so you will have it for ages.

You should start a Herman Miller owners club!

DoGMaN 10-02-2006 12:29 PM

http://www.gabrielross.com/herman-miller-c-78.html

cthree 10-02-2006 12:48 PM

First, Happy Birthday Marta! For my part I'm still 100% Vintage free at least for one more year :)

I got mine from Business Interiors in Miss. for $11XX all in. No question this is the S-class of ass apparel :D After years of BS chairs of all varieties I felt that it was high time that I invest in something that won't break, bend, squeak, flop around and that was actually comfortable. So many days I've suffered popping Advils for this chronic headache. Enough is enough. New address, new chair, new outlook.

Thanks for the well wishes :hello:

BioBanker 10-02-2006 12:49 PM

Happy BDay Erik.

Mindcore 10-02-2006 04:56 PM

Happy Birthday Dude..

hyper 10-02-2006 09:47 PM

HBD.

If you told me sooner, I could've plucked one of those chairs from our old office location - every cubicle had one and some of those cubicles were empty. :D

hapa 10-03-2006 01:59 AM

Happy Belated.

I've seen some chairs similar at work. Are they really that comfortable for the ass?

Mocky 10-03-2006 03:17 AM

happy bday....

:hello:

henesse 10-03-2006 03:58 AM

happy belated birthday.

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 07:13 AM

i'm gonna get one for home....i'm currently using a plastic step stool.

:D

erock/vance, which one do you recommend for my little ass?

erock, does your place have a website?

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 07:21 AM

For you probably the medium seat.

Gives you some room to move, I know I don't need to say this but get the full deal...don't scimp on addons, they work and are worth it.

When I ordered mine, I had it in a couple of days. Plus they sent me extra wheels for some reason.

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 07:27 AM

erik's price of 1100 all in is great - and that would've been for the large seat with all the bells and whistles....does the place in your link deal?

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 07:29 AM

Not that I recall, I seem to think when I bought it was hard to get them.

You could call them and ask, they might be willing to do something..never hurts.

BeachBum 10-03-2006 07:30 AM

hmmmm.... kitchen valance lighting or a new chair ???? hmmmm. Mind you the new chair won't help me pour a scotch in the wee hours of the morning.

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 07:32 AM

^ no, but you could take the bottle with you on the chair.

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 07:32 AM

and another thing....since when does valence lighting cost a grand?????

Nabs 79 10-03-2006 07:40 AM

Happy B-day dude!

adelaide 10-03-2006 08:47 AM

nice chair, I have the aluminum chromed-out one.

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 08:52 AM

Of course you do

adelaide 10-03-2006 08:57 AM

I wanted to import a kneeling terracotta archer to sit on but Canada customs said no.

so i had to make due.

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 08:58 AM

Man I'd love to be buried with one of those.

Hey does your infa red actually work on the centro 8000? Just curious...shameless plug

adelaide 10-03-2006 09:04 AM

it works well for searing and high temp cooking, but most customers are not well versed enough to understand that. These are the same people that cook everything on HIGH all the time and wonder why their food is burnt.

you can also use it as a regular cooking surface once the entire grill gets up to temperature.

Do you smoke a lot of stuff? We are launching a digital electric smoker next year.

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 09:10 AM

Dude you know I do...I was going to buy a Bradley for times when i don't feel like staying awake for 30 hours.

Lemme know if you want suggestions.

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 09:28 AM

i called eric's place....980 + taxes for the loaded posture fit....i ordered it.

it's for arjun....it's his birthday tomorrow.

:)

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 09:32 AM

Nice! Great price

Next is Bhavna's birthday, may I suggest a bowling ball engraved with HOMER.

next is our birthdays....but you now this already.

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 09:52 AM

I know but it wasn't funny, so I went for the funny.

Mindcore 10-03-2006 10:05 AM

I slouch when I sit, so I perfer lots of padding to soak up my body irregualrities

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 10:12 AM

Lemme preface that you brought anything else to follow on yourself.

But is there enough padding to soak up said irregularities?

PLYRS 3 10-03-2006 10:16 AM

why do you open yourself up like this?

Mindcore 10-03-2006 10:50 AM

Is there ever enough padding?

and I just like to make it easy on you guys once in a while

dude, you have no idea of the builders quotes i'm looking at... that one wasn't even in the fvckn outrageous category.

How does 16grand for 650 sq ft of hardwood strike ya?

Mindcore 10-03-2006 11:13 AM

Geezus, do they station a guy in the corner to mop up spills on demand with that price?

BlackieZ 10-03-2006 11:13 AM

I assumed brooke burke would have the top 16 unsigned moppers on call in just such an emergency.

Mindcore 10-03-2006 11:34 AM

She does, I can make a mess sometimes :D

dude, stop your bitching. What's $24/sq ft between friends? It's probably rare Hoochie wood from the rain forests of Cameroon. If you think $24/sq ft is too much I'll do it for you for only $22/sq ft. Save your money.

You do realize this is a clever ruse just to get his own cheeks into a chair purchased "for" his son.

cthree 10-03-2006 12:30 PM

Wow, I must be retarded. I really thought he bought an $1100 office chair for his 4? year old son so he could have proper posture support during those long 10 hour finger painting sessions.

DoGMaN 10-03-2006 12:39 PM

I'm glad you came to your senses, I didn't want to say anything.

louieville 10-03-2006 02:45 PM

Damn was everybody on thisforum born in October???? Cause mines on Sunday!!! and I will be in Windsor visiting my girl. Happy B-Day guys, that arse massager looks sweet btw.
