why such disdain for our beloved S2000?

personally, i think the s2000 is the more 'special' car. m3 may be better everyday, but there's nothing as fun as the S2000.

i dont think the problem is OUR disdain with our s2k.

it seems like HIS mind is made up and he just needs people to shove him over to the M side.

it's a toy car for him anyway; there SHOULD be no reason to need any persuasion to pick the car.

I hate to say, if it's a street car you're looking for get the M3. But if you want a little more attention in the sea of 3 series coupes out there, you get the S2000. A few little mods and it's no slouch off the line, only when compared to cars that cost 2-3 times as much.

I have no problem finding power down low and I've spent less than 2K on upgrades for my S. I know a bunch of you are the same.

I dont think that telling him to go for an M3 shows distain Prada, the M3 is one hell of a car.

S2000s more fun than an M3, but unless that is your #1 criteria, you're probably going to be happier in the M3.

I would take an S2000 over an M3 just because maintenance is so much more affordable and the S2k get a bit more attention
