We just need to face facts here
Mike is a purist, loves that top down regardless of personal comfort!
You and I on the other hand would rather be stylish and comfortable I guess.
I understand both points equally but prefer the hardtop instead of the soft if I have to have a top on at all.
There I think I validated everyone. I just came off a staff meeting can ya tell?

OK- so I'm on the fence.
The first option I bought for the car was a huge leather/fur hat with ear/chin flaps. When I was a small boy I remember my Daddy taking off for work in the winter with the top down on the MGA, and a huge Russian Military looking leather/fur hat on his head. So in my mind this is normal, that makes me a top down puirist.
My Spa is coming with the Hardtop that I plan to use 4 to 6 times a year at driving schools for the added safety/noise/visibility/warmth thing. I have to agree, when the hardtop is on the car, it is transformed into another vehicle. Wow! Because this change is so very good looking and because of the functionality, that makes me a hardtop purist.
To each his own! And believe me TKG 26, I can understand why you are so excited! Now get some pics posted buddy!!!

My 2 cent's. I like the look of the hardtop, but I bought a convertible. So, no HT for me. Also for me I do not have the proper storage space for the HT or the capability of putting it on. I do not have 2 strong guys available to help. Mike and Vince just won't help! I dunno why.
Personal preference! And let's see your pics TKG.

HG,
you should know by now that the only way to get mike or vince to do anything is to bribe them with booze. failing that, sexual favours are always accepted alternatives
btw, it only weighs about 40 lbs - if you lift it from one side (assuming 2 people), it seems way lighter than that - any 2 guys/gals could do it.
rahul,
yeah, i'm actually going to dave & busters @ 7:30 - come if you want - i'm playing the golf simulator with a bunch of buds.
or if you want to come by my office (at least it'll still be light out) - we'll have a pint after work.
call me either way.
