TO get service done under warranty at an Acura dealer?

Is this actually possible? Atleast they have NSX certified mechanics available.

i took mine to Acura of North Toronto because of late service hours - in this instance, the extended hours were irrelevant as the car had to be there overnight. though i was able to book the car in late (everything 9 to 5 or 6 sucks for me - too busy)

i asked for LOF and Window TSB.

they did the LOF and had a guy from Richmond Hill Honda come down for the TSB - their explanatiuon was that it was quicker and that the honda place had the part in stock and a "honda" guy would be more familiar with the vehicle - no big deal. the work was done so i was content.

the funny thing is, Richmond Hill Honda is spitting distance form my house (less than a km) - but i don't go there because they have shitty service - go figure

oh, one more thing...

does every acura dealer have a "NSX certified mechanic" on-staff ALL THE TIME? or would he/she be called in as required?

Thats pretty interesting, I'm going to have to hit up Barrie Acura and see if they'll do the work. And yeah they have an NSX certified mechanic there all the time. He does a lot of custom tuner work as well.

I've been treated pretty nicely at Barrie Honda, just not sure on how the service is..I need to see their customer sat numbers before I make up my mind. They are right across the road from one another, so parts aren't a big deal.

The acura service numbers are amazing
