Op..If you want some swift lowering springs PM me. I have a set in my FS thread almost new. This is what my car looks like with them. I have two sets...

Poorly disquised "sales pitch"

I wasn't the one who mentioned the springs that I happen to have for sale.
I also think a pic of an s2000 with black rims displays the drop the car needs. Just sayin'

Thanks for all the help everyone!
I am running Tein Coil's so I don't need a set of springs. The car when I purchased it had 18" wheels on it and I swapped them out for 17's and never adjusted the ride height. I think ill lower it a bit more and see if I like the look better then.
Now I just need to purchase a spanner wrench since I didn't get one with the car

If swapping the wheels from 17-18" added wheel gap then your OD (overall diameter) is not the same, the 40 and 45 sidewall is partially responsible for your wheel gap issues, do you happen to know what the specs on the 18"s were and what tire sizes they were running?
If you think they look too sunk your only option with these wheels are spacers, Just a word of warning if you lower it more without spacing them out it's only going to look more sunken. And as mentioned you will need to roll if you go too aggressive.
Essentially you can make up the gap 1 of 2 ways, either lower the car more, or get a beefier tire. Regardless, not all hope is lost!
