It's a 3/8 drive and you can fit a torque wrench on it to get the required torque on the filter as well. Worked out great for me and it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the special tool from the Honda Dealer.

Roger that ! Thanks Purple one ! Internet forums are often full of annoying BS; but, they are also great places to share info that makes it easier for us Do-it-yourselfers to pursue our hobby !

So the Ebay Oil Filter Cap came in today...

Fits very well over the oil filter and I like the low profile feature.

Hole is sized for a 3/8 socket wrench.

I just have a metal #3 oil cap wrench tool, it looks like the same one Frank_S2000 has, you used to be able to buy those everywhere a few years ago, now they are all that plastic graphite crap that ain't worth a shit. If you can locate an auto parts store that sells metal oil filter caps get a #3 and you are good to go, it will be cheaper than any Honda tool, otherwise the ebay one looks perfectly fine and should last forever.

Just ordered this one as I've been borrowing one from work and the techs are starting to get annoyed, LOL.

$8.75 shipped.

I was going to order the one you linked to, but it mentioned the seller was away so the process would be delayed. Then I found that one!
