Default Hoping for an early spring!

Well, unlike the horror that was last winter, so far this one's been pretty good. It looks like we could be in for an early spring. According to the Weather Channel, it's supposed to be at or above freezing all next week, which is pretty remarkable for the middle of January. I mean, I haven't even put the snows on my car and there is no snow anywhere to be seen in the city.

Let's hope it's S2000 weather by March . . .

Lets hope so....Im praying so hard!

Was sitting in my car today making those "Vroom, Vroom" noises. The temperature is not bad out there. I was going to go for a drive, but when I saw a Z06 fly down the street blowing all that salt smoke around i decided...NaH!.....

Too funny, because I had the same experience, I thought just one quick rip around town, then saw that salt, and figured leave it where it is or should be

Not too early . It is hard enough waiting now, I'm not sure how I could wait if it was nice out.

I'm numb to the suffering of not driving now. I almost did as you folks did today...but I looked down the driveway and saw a foot of snow still...so I said NAH.

I think drinking heavily helps.

Suffering?

Not driving?

Whatever do you mean?

I think the only safe way for me to keep "her" off the road is to have her parked far away from me where it is safe - that way I cannot even attempt to take her out if I have an inkling......I got 2 die cast models of her though (1:24 & 1:18) for Christmas, so play like a little child on my kitchen floor with them. It's amazing how much pure fulfillment one can get from this simple little exercise - I strongly recommend it for anyone else going through withdrawal, maybe we could all play together???

Cheers,
Lesley

For me I keep making the pain go away by doing stuff, like buying things for it....

Today I went out, checked the tire pressure, topped that up. Moved the car by hand to avoid a flat spot.

Cleaned the leather

Pulled the head unit out, put the rear speaker panels in.

Trickle charging the battery for 24 hours...amazed how low it was, almost 50% discharged in a month.

Still to go: Install new head unit

Install X-Brace

Caliper paint / Clean the wheels

New air filter or CAI can't decide yet.

Sit and cry like a wee baby. Drink heavily.

Maybe if I could find a yellow 1:18 and 1:24 I'd be happier?

Well, unfortunately for me I cannot afford to put too many "extras" on at the moment or even clean it - I've parked it about 45 minutes up north; but I do try my best to go visit her once a week!

Yellow die cast models are around, just hard to come by....if you're interested let me know - I'll keep my radar eyes out...being female a reason to go shopping (or even looking) is positively a wonderful thing and any excuse to do so is even better.

Ciao
Lesley
