If you're an Alumni with York U or (Waterloo too I think), then TD meloche got the best rates so far.
If you need some help on getting some quotes, feel free to contact me(I work in the insurance field).

$210/month, 24 years old with State Farm. Be older and you'll get a better rate. Provided I don't get any tickets, this time next year I'll be paying less than half that.
Insurance cost actually went down when I added life insurance, as I gained a multi-line discount. The savings was greater than the insurance premium.

$117 with State Farm, 25 yrs old.
That includes multi-line + 6 star discounts. $1000 and $500 deductibles for collision and comp respectively.
I paid the same when I was under 25. The agent told me that since I have two cars insured, they can classify me as over 25 on one of them. So they classified my beater as under 25 and the S as over 25. Doesn't make sense to me, but I didn't ask any questions!
