A Real Ugly Twist..
JB and JV in limbo..
For some strange reason, FW has JB in limbo FW has still not put a contract in the FIA Contract Recognition Board. This means, JB is still "in between" teams.
Actually he still is at BAR for 2005. JB and his father have asked williams repeatedly to get the ball rolling, as he recognizes the longer this goes, he becomes more tarnished..
why the stall ? they are holding out in shelling out $$$ as you guessed it, DC may come A LOT cheaper.. another reason why many do not like Frank Williams.. due to his shrewd cheapness towards his drivers
JB's father also recognizes the urgency to get this deal done, as he fears his son will not get the equal footing with the team's other new signing Mark Webber. And if they sign DC, JB won't be wanted at BAR and will be stuck with a Jag drive possibly ..
On the other side of the coin BAR and cannot sign anyone else until the Button situation is resolved as indicated by the FIA.. So JV , Sato, and Davidson (who will be at Sauber in 05) are all on hold at that end
Regardless of that above.. Ohhhhh that Liuzzi is gaining ground
