10 seconds/lap due to just r-compounds at shannonville! I don't think so. They're probably good for 2-3 seconds max!
Suspension is going to increase their turn in, cornering, and exit speeds too...

Oh, and lets not forget Seat Time.

Anyone see my drift around corner 1 ....I had "sideways" as an instructor, so it seemed appropriate!

They're still sparkin....

That's what happens when Albert "suggests" you change the pads but you think you can make it one more day.

Although, I can tell you that driving like you have no brakes left lends itself to excellent gas mileage.
Ron, I thought you would of learned from by lack of brake pads from that other Shannonville lapping day. Don't make me you.

Nimesh, depending on the r-compounds you have, Nabeel could be right.

Autoxing needans2k and I are about equal. He has a suspension, I have r compounds...

I am not finding a huge difference between my S02s from last year and the RA1s. Maybe a second at the autox.

I could still not be getting the most out of them though....

yup....170 every time....not a click more, not a click less.

ian, no doubt they have skills.....but, they were also all on r-compounds....we're talking about a 10 sec. advantage per lap at shannonville.
Was that down the Fabi straight, the dragstrip? I assume that was with the top up. Always lapped with the top down and usually chicken out at 155-160 kph.
