MONDA!
Over the past couple months I've been working on my new (old) project track car... no not an S2000 although i almost bought one at the end of the summer. The project has started to take shape quite well so i figure id post up what I'm doing. Here is the car when i got it. Yes i know its not a honda.... we can fix that.
Installed roll bar, racing seat, gut interior, BBK front and upgraded rear brakes to 1.8 brakes.
I didn't care much for the red so i made some changes.
I took it to the track a couple times after adding suspension etc
Wasn't too impressed with the 1.6L that was in there so figure id take it out and put something in a little more familiar.
Making some room for the new power plant
Sizing things up with the new engine in place.
Moved the steering rack to accommodate the new engines size
Cleaned things up and ready for some paint
I don't like red..lol
Dont mind my awesome welding skills. Engine mounts made
Lower support brace complete. One of the structural bars are removable as seen in the following pic. Makes engine/ transmission removal easy
Shifter lines up perfect
Transmission mount simplified
Thats pretty much it for now
Will post some more pictures once i get the engine back in.
