Alright, so the Muskoka cruise will be happening this year on Saturday, August 15. Like the Niagara cruise, this is generally a full day thing - some leave early - but it's best enjoyed if you can take the whole day.

GTA EAST PRE-MEET: Tim Hortons at Victoria Park Ave and Hwy 401 - 9am, LEAVE BY 930am

GTA WEST PRE-MEET: I'm open to suggestions

MEET UP LOCATION: East Side Mario's at 315 Memorial Ave., Orillia

MEET UP TIME: 11am - 12pm (Lunch and gas)

DEPARTURE TIME: 1230pm SHARP!

DINNER: Boston Pizza at 1100 Bay St., Gravenhurst

CRUISE ROUTE: About 3 hours of driving with a 1-hour break at Lake Rosseau
Updated route including Southwood Road (3.5 hours)
-To get this on your phone, email this link to yourself, open it on your phone with Google Maps.
-There is no way that I'm aware of that would allow Google Navigation to work, but this'll suffice. In any case, unless you're leading, just follow the guy in front of you

GENERAL POINTERS:
1. Stay within the yellow and white lines
-We cannot emphasize this enough - safety is paramount and we're on public roads
-If you cannot stay between the lines, then you're driving beyond your limit
-This will largely apply to Southwood Road, assuming we're taking it Due to road conditions, we will not *officially* drive it; HOWEVER, the current route will pass by it at the very end so you have the option of driving it on your own and still make it to the Boston Pizza at nearly the same time as the rest of the group.
-We'll do a pit stop before so those who want a more spirited run can move to the front

2. Bring a radio if you have one (Channel 4)
-This is, quite possibly, the most important thing to bring. It'll prevent you from getting lost and it makes the ride more fun with the ongoing chatter.
-If you don't mind sharing, bring a spare - I'll have an extra one to lend to someone if needed, though it'll probably go to Adrenalize.

3. 2 Car Rule
-This didn't work out as well as we expected on the Niagara cruise, but we're gonna try it again. If 10 guys from Southern Ontario made it to the Dragon and back without getting lost with this system, then the Muskoka cruise should be a piece of cake
-Whenever you make a turn or are getting on/off the highway, make sure you can see 2 cars behind you before turning
-if you really must turn because you're holding up traffic, then stop right after the turn so the car behind you can see you (there may have been a few cars between you guys)

4.Misc
-Keep your headlights on
-It makes a big difference to be able to see the tail lights in front of you and the headlights in your mirrors
-Remember Rule #1
