The only carbon panel I wouldn't mind is a hardtop, paint it Joey!

Thanks, I used the stickers to cover some damage that occurred on my Dragon trip. I have since gotten the lip clear bra'd so they are no longer needed. I still have my badge on there though. It looks cleaner.

Mmmmmm carbon...

Personally I think it looks fine left raw, although if you have some other carbon features to accent it helps. I also like when people partially paint the carbon to show that the panel is carbon fiber underneath the paint.

Thanks Brad, yes I have also seen paint jobs that leave some translucent effects in the paint/carbon. I also seen one member in the U.S. who left the raised aero portion of the hood unpainted which looked decent. Decisions, decisions.

It would be nice if you could get a wrap in Sebring Silver that matched perfectly then you could remove it if you wanted.

110% paint.

Looks extremely ricey (absolutely no offence, Joey) when ANY carbon is left unpainted - with the exception of the side part of a Mugen top.

Yeah wrapping would be nice, probably not possible to get sebring silver though.

If I paint it I am taking the gas cap to the painter to match it to my body paint colour, if they had to blend it into the fenders with the hood on the car it would cost a fortune.

I appreciate all of the replies.

I wonder if they could paint a wrap with the newer paint technology? It is a waterborne paint so it shouldn't wrinkle the wrap. They would have to etch the wrap and then hope the clear wouldn't affect it.

Just a crazy thought!
