There is also a guy in the club who is getting a REAL TRD widebody kit. The kit alone is like 10g's not to mention install and paint Now that's nuts. I hope to get my car into low 12's high 11's in the next couple of years. What kind of times are you guys running?

I talked to Adrian, the guy he was telling me about is named Jeff. He wasn't at your last meet thru the forks, but is supposed to have done a lot of work on his car lately and will show his face next week.

Though I don't plan on dragging the MR2, I'm hoping for mid 13's before next season. Any quicker and the car'll be a handful on the track.
I think for you to push out reliable 12 flats in an MR2 you need to consider spending about 15K. Turbo upgrades and engine rebuilds arn't cheap ya know?

Yeah it is expensive but 15k is an overstatement. There are guys running low 13's high 12's with stock turbos and stock internals on the motor. The motor is capable of over 400hp without touching internals and so is the tranny. It wont be cheap but it wont be 15k either.
