Welcome to the board 515studios!
Ditto on the above advice - they're essentially a must-do during your once-over so you can have peace of mind. There is a stickied thread about trustworthy shops in the GTA.
Finally, do try to come out to one of the monthly meets and/or cruises (we have 1-2 more planned this year) - it's a good group of (civilized) guys and occasional gal.

With a DBW car don't wait until 105,000 miles to check them. They're probably excessively tight now.
The burned valve issue with 2006+ (DBW) engines is well documented by our own Billman whose advice you can take to the bank. $15 worth of Amazon tools and 90 minutes of your time on a Saturday morning (engine must be cold) is all that's necessary to check and adjust the valve clearances. Photo essay in the library here. Any Honda motorcycle mechanic will be familiar with this procedure. I doubt the typical wrench turners at a Honda car dealer will have even seen this engine with the valve cover off, there is no reason to do this on other Hondas. Put the car on jackstands to save your back otherwise you'll by laying on top of the engine to do this.
The timing chain tensioner is a known part wear out/failure. Preventive maintenance by replacing with the Billman GenX model is highly recommended. Yep, same Bill.

Hey I a, looking to change the head until from factory.
getting a good deal on alpine CDEHD149BT through work.
does anyone know if this will allow the radio door to close still? I can’t seem to find a straight answer, Crutchfield gives a warning, but is not specific to this model......

Hey guys, quick question about the DCI. I am using the axxess module. When I have the presets set on my new alpine deck, pressing the CH button on the dash seeks to the next available station, not my next preset... anyone know why this is? Can it be fixed?
thanks
