Yesterday I spent some time working on a fuel starve solution and I don’t think a single person has attempted this so time will tell if it works.
I purchased hydraMat part number 16-111 as it mounts to the OEM style fuel pump without modifications. I also filled the tank with automotive fuel cell foam from ksrfoam.com. I was able to completely fill the tank with foam leaving a small opening at the bottom of the tank for the mat. .Total cost for this was $200.usd. Worst case scenario is I need to purchase a surge tank and im out the $200 and a $50 gas tank. Or I install a fuel cell, just not in the books this year.

Is the hydramat overkill? Shouldn't the foam do enough to prevent sloshing unless you're desperately low on gas? Cool stuff though - How does the foam stay in place and not interfere with the sock?
