Default ok im jewish and cheap give me a break over here

I originally wanted to get 4 brand new tires most likley the ones that come stock in the 04 s2000
however my budget has limited me since my rears are worn to hell and my fronts are still good can i just change rears with new khumo 712's like before and still be safe even tho the front arent as new

saftey is important so your opinions would be appreciated....

Save up for 4 new tires...

Personally I wouldn't mix the tires (F vs R).

I did that before. Unless you autox or do solo events, you won't really notice much of a difference.

You'll be fine as long as you stay with the same brand Darren...

Sticky S-02s on the front and non-sticky 712s on the rear is in my mind a dangerous combination as it will clearly promote oversteer. I think anyone who has a tendency to drive the car, even just slightly aggressively on the streets would find this set up un-nerving.

Then what is the issue?
Just run the 712s and save up your money for some RE-50s...
I ran 712s on the front and backs as I got them used when I bought the used wheels.
