If you don't know the difference but sound good who cares what he thinks?
I bought paradigms because I liked the sound of them.

B&W Are great, I had a set, but yes I agree with Mike Paradigm's are 95% if not more of what B&W's are and are WAY cheaper.
B&W's are expensive. I actually find some of the B&W's too have too much of a balance towards the high frequencies and find the Paradigms a little more melow.

Nimesh, I had 602's those are awesome speakers for the money and comparable with the Paradigm Studio 40 I have now. I find the Studio's to have more depth and deep bass.
But that's the thing with B&W, they START where Paradigm ends.... well use to end, Paradigm now has the signature series which is a lot higher end. But B&W has the nautillus which is ummm $25k ish?

602's VS Studio 40's for sure. Almost identical, same size / construction etc.
Those are Large bookshelves. If you want towers 604's than compare them to 60's and 100's.
BUT IMO, the Studio 100's will blow away the 604's, and I beleive they are much cheaper...... things may have changed. You use to be able to get 100's for $2000 or so on sale for a pair.
Also Paradigm dealers will "discount" You have a hookup with B&W but normally they won't discount much.
I'd also look at the Dalquist line. I love my QX10 I use it in a stereo only setup and they are truely amazing, they are even better bang for the buck. http://www.dahlquistcorporation.com/..._FS_no_box.pdf
