paint protection
My Rant.
I'm looking for a current professional installer of 3m protection film close to Guelph, Cambridge or Mississauga.
I previously used john legere's 3m trim line in Brampton many years ago. There used to be a Mississauga location too, run by his dad and brother but all their website and phone numbers are no longer in service or are inactive. The website for Legere graphics and trim or 3m chip guard are dead sites now.
In Guelph there are a couple of installers. I used uniglass plus/Ziebart, to have what ever brand of film they use , installed on the hood. Was supposed to be a professional installation. It looks like it was done by an inexperienced rookie with scrape marks, bubbles that haven't dissipated and micro wrinkles. It was laser cut and installed without wrapping around the front lip of the hood. So no protection against stone or sand chips for the leading 3/16" of the hood. Unacceptable.
They've offered to redo it but if they couldn't do it right the first time they are not going to get it right the second time either.
John at Trim line did a job of perfection when I had it done many years ago and was hand installed and trimmed by John himself. He let me watch him the full time he worked. It was wrapped around the curves of every leading edge to protect against stone chips.
Does anyone know the Legere's or if their business has relocated? They used to be at 1510 Drew Rd Mississauga.
I would appreciate a strong recommendation for a professional installer of protection film.

I would recommend Scotty's Shine Shop here in London ON. He works on Ferraris, Lambos, and recently had a Merc GTS there. He has great reviews. He does ceramic coats and XPEL PPF. Maybe he could do 3M?
