Default The paranoia finally sets in

Well....last night was the first time I actually had a chance to enjoy the S2K. Took it out and went out to dinner with a few friends. It was the first time I ever left her alone in a public parking lot...man I was paranoid. ....I found myself constantly looking outside to see if it was still there...My friends told me I am nuts.

AHHhhh....the joys of owning a brand new car...especially an S2k. Im sure the paranoia will wear off as time goes by...or will it????

LOL Hahaha.....any owners out there who are still nervous leaving their baby parked??? Im just curoius.....I hope im not the only one whos crazy!

Peace

I've had my car since May 2001 and I'm still very paranoid, don't trust anyone. For example, this morning at the gym (I pick a treadmill where I can run and watch the car - helps give me energy too!) - on my way out the mini van (which I hate beyond anything) parked next to me was getting ready to leave, I had to run over to make sure the woman on the passenger side hadn't hit my door - and she hadn't just me being paranoid.

I don't think it will EVER go away!!!

Good luck - and keep enjoying the weather, I know I am - first time I've had the car out in a month.

For me...here's the worst: Going to a movie theatre!

If a perp wants to f@%$ with it, they pretty much *know* you're outta sight for roughly 2 hours. Maaaaaaaan, I dread that!

I hang in the hardcore 'hoods in the GTA:

Parkdale, Jane/Finch, Jane Falstaff, etc...

Never had any problems.

Peace.

No alarm, about $300 of stereo wire in plain view. (no back shelf in my car)

I'm not too worried, I usually park it in plain view.

Peace.
