I keep looking at the Forbidden Mugen style double sided carbon fiber top...exchange rate is stupid dumb, and also I love driving top down...so I don't think it will ever happen. When is someone going to post up an ASM front bumper?
Didn't Kryptonite have one that he recently sold?
By the time I saw that ad someone had already scooped up the bumper and CF lip

A couple more to look at, wish I had unlimited funds and a couple more S2K's.

I might sell my double carbon top later this year but its painted sebring (minus the sides/inside of course). With VIS $$$ glass window

Is it possible to strip the paint off carbon fiber without damaging it? I would prefer the weave over BB or GPW. Is it a 1x1? What brackets do you have?

I think it is technically possible but I would not risk it with an expensive part.

hardtops are getting expensive with the way our dollar is right now. I just bought a brand new Mugen Style FRP from Rockstar Garage during their Boxing day sale and with shipping, taxes, and conversion... it cost me almost 2grand... and I still have to pay to paint it.

What happened to the days where offering a deposit will hold the item.

Good price on the KW V3's too.

BTW, would you have any hidden treasures for sale Joey?
I have a few nice parts on my car, but they will only come up for sale if I ever decided to sell the vehicle.

My basement is filled with spare oem parts which I've hoarded over the years, from a low mile ap1 tranny, EPS steering rack, propeller shaft, rear axles, and lots of suspension parts. I don't want to really sell any of them, as spare parts will get harder to find in the future.

Ah man, if only I had known, would be so much easier to hand these parts off in Canada rather than in the US.

With the way the dollar is that bumper and lip combo is pretty damn expensive.
