umm, I saw plastic wrap on the front of some of the cars. Is that to prevent stone chips? Does it work? (is the wrap thick enough)?

Also saw green tape on the front bumper and chin of a Silverstone. What's that for?

The tape is to avoid cone (pylon) scufs.
