Default placing licence plate in grille area ?

I've done a search and have read conflicting opinions as to locating the front licence plate in the front grill area.

Does mounting the licence plate in the grille area inhibit air flow to rad making the engine overheat in our seasons ?

I'd like to know what you all think as I've seen some cars with it.

I've also seen GrilleTech's version of including the plate in the make up of the grille. The plate gets shaved off a bit but is still legible. They will do if you order a grille and send them the plate.

Thanks for reading

I would not do it on my car. I prefer the engine get as much airflow as possible.

You're not allowed to move or modify the plate.

It must be at the very front of your car. I'd just remove it. Throw it under your seat. If you get pulled over say your plate holder is on order from honda in japan.

I've had a few warnings with mine how it is now.
