Well, I was wondering if anyone can help me out on this one.

This morning I was driving home in an 03 MDX with 6 of my friends coming from NYC. Along the I-81N we were going 62 in a 55. So I was doing basically 100km/h with the cruise control. All of a sudden I see an unmarked trooper stopped on the side and as I pass he decides to take me down. So I stop to the side of the road and all of a sudden he decides to slap me with a ticket for 9mph over...

WTF is that all about??...My friend asked to see the radar but it ended up the cop didnt have the reading. He said he reset the gun...The cop was just being a complete di*k about everything....Pissed off at this point I decide to let my other friend drive home...

2 hours later...guess what?.. He gets pulled over and slapped with a ticket for 10mph over. The cop caught us passing a slow (<65mph) car in the passing lane. Speed Limit was 65 at this point.

I cant believe the treatment we got from the NY State police. Not even a fu*king warning..NOTHING  ...tell you the truth now...Im terrified to drive in NY state..

So Im asking if anyone from T.O. has dealt with this type of situation before....what did you do? How did you fight it?...

I really dont think it was fair for them to give us tickets like that especially 3am in the morning, before Christmas when we are just trying to get home...NYState troopers are just complete Morons..

Id appreciate anyones suggestions...thanks and
Merry Christmas

Sorry to hear about that Tugz...Last time I drove to the States, I went to Chicago and was averaging no less then 160 km/hr and didn't receive 1 ticket....You received a ticket for going 9 miles/over the limit? Was it the same cop who pulled you over the second time?

Anyhow, contact a Ticket Traffic Agency and ask them how to deal with it. If you want, I can PM you my Para-legal's number. She has dealt with such cases and she'll answer your questions before you decide wether or not you want to deal through her.

Let me know and sorry to hear about that. If I ever travel to NY, I'm going to have to be careful...

Rahual, remember that incident I got into a while a back...Well it was THROWN OUT!

It only set me back a few bills and no Criminal lawyer needed!

Pay the tickets, they can cause you great pains up here.

We have agreements with them

For 9 and 10 over, just pay them...they can't be too severe and I would be surprised if your insurance would have any way of find out about these.

NY is having a major crackdown on speeding etc. during the holiday season, at least there isn't the death penalty for speeding yet.
