HUGE thanks to myflys2k for checking to make sure both motors was healthy before I bought them.
Contact myflys2k on S2KI for soft top replacement, engine repairs, any S2K problems bring to him.

Picked up this motor couple months ago, bought it home and cleaned it. Cylinder head parts from Majestic Honda, ex. valves, AP2 retainers, cotter valves, in/ex. valve seals, head gasket, in/ex gasket.
Over the weekend, brought the motor to myflys2k to do compression test, then we decided to opened up the head to check cylinder walls. A huge sigh of relief, all cylinder walls are in excellent shape!

While I was there, picked up my perfect working order spare AP1 motor from myflys2k. Thank you
I plan on buying an engine stand, clean it up and change every nuts/bolts to new oem, brand valve cover.

Just curious, why did you crack it open instead of using a bore scope?

Nice purchases there Tyson, you can never have too many parts.

I've got an S2000 die cast if anyone wants one, Silverstone, I never kept the box or stand , it is just loose as I like to play with it and move it around like a toy lol.

Not necessary, because the head needed to come off to be sent to cylinder head shop for upgrades. Since the motor was off the car, myflys2k took off the head pretty quick.

Can never have too many "S2000" parts, if you're lucky to have space for it. I'm running out of room, the game room will have to sacrifice lol.
I asked myself once, what I'm going to do when the car is done and built? My new passion is buying more AP1 motors, cleaning, making it new again for collection.
It just never stops Joey.

As the car becomes more and more collectible, those clean engines will gain a good chunk of value. If I had the room I'd do the same
