yup, can't go wrong with that.

as an aside, you may want to see if the trunk springs get replaced with heavy duty ones. i know this is an issue with MOST passanger cars that have trunklid spoliers (so that the added weight of the spolier doesn't cause the trunk to slam shut or not stay open on it's own merit)

my car came with the spoiler so it was not an issue that was discussed with me.

just looking out for you...

regards.

According to the Honda.ca website the spoiler comes with the replacement springs. I think I will call the service dept. and make sure they change them. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: trunk springs - true, the OEM spoiler comes with new ones and you should get them installed BUT my Neon spoiler is far heavier than the OEM one and the springs are not necessary because the trunk opens to almost vertical that there is hardly any weight on the springs at this point that the stock springs are more than adequate.
Another spoiler you should look at too is the one on rstark's (Hawaii) car. This is my fav but a bit pricey.

xviper,

thanks - good to know about the springs.

it's funny, i've personally never considered cross-shopping OEM parts from different manufacturers. it worked out well for you - looks good.

regards.

I believe all threads have the option of being rated. Some threads are and most aren't. It depends if those viewing it choose to input a rating. Trouble is if only 1 or 2 rate it, it doesn't reflect what the general audience felt.
